Last updated: May 13, 2026

Cage Free Voices ("we", "our", or "us") respects the privacy of families, students, and educators who use Triad Quest (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over your data.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account information: parent/guardian name and email when you sign up.
  • Learner profile: first name (or nickname), grade band, and assessment responses used to generate the learning pathway.
  • Pathway & activity data: chosen apps, generated pathways, dice rolls, and assessment results.
  • Technical data: device, browser, and basic analytics needed to operate the Service.

2. How We Use Information

  • To create and personalize learning pathways for your child
  • To save your progress so you can return to it
  • To improve the Service and fix problems
  • To send service-related communications (e.g., password resets)

3. FERPA & Student Data

When Triad Quest is used by a school or district, we operate as a "school official" under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and treat student records accordingly. We do not sell student data, do not use it for behavioral advertising, and only use it for the educational purposes the school has authorized. Schools and parents may request access, correction, or deletion of student records by emailing contact@cfvonlinelearning.com.

4. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Accounts are created and managed by adults. We collect only the minimum information needed to deliver the educational pathway. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without verifiable parental or school consent.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your data. We share information only:

  • With service providers who help us operate the Service (hosting, authentication, analytics) under confidentiality obligations
  • When required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security
  • In a business transfer (e.g., merger), with notice to affected users

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit, role-based access controls, and row-level security on learner data. No system is 100% secure; please use a strong, unique password.

7. Data Retention

We keep your account and learner data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can request deletion at any time by emailingcontact@cfvonlinelearning.com.

8. Your Rights

You may:

  • Access, update, or download your data
  • Request deletion of your account and learner records
  • Opt out of non-essential communications

9. Cookies & Local Storage

We use cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your accessibility preferences, and measure aggregate usage. You can clear these at any time from your browser settings.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
